Nicholas Ricardo Powell born on December 13, 1987 an upcoming recording artist Regal Imperial meaning royalty was born and raised in the heart of Coley Mountain Manchester where he reside with both parents and siblings; until he began his journey at age 16. Overcoming hardships from a youth Regal knew music was his dream and life. The multitalented soul is a
man of God and very family oriented he began his journey as an early childhood practitioner as a source of income but showcases his talents with his musical mind knowing that music was his way out. Regal created his own record label named after one of his sons Jaraine Records where he continues to show his versatility with being a producer, song writer and recording artist.
In the year of 2016 he left Manchester to pursue his aspiration in music at Ocho Rios in the parish of St. Ann. The artist then returned home to attend to his mother but he did not lose his motivation and dedication. In the year of 2019 his brother from another mother Ralston Richard popularly known as Sycure Gyani brought him back to Ocho Rios to achieve his objective.
Regal later put his hard work and commitment into his company where he did studio sessions and created rhythms also shared his versatility with others to make them great, he created connections and friendships that will never be forgotten.
Regal released a few singles titled ‘Dreams’ and ‘Big Meech’ while continuing to work on numerous projects. As a songwriter, Regal music inspires from his personal experience and observation of society. As a versatile music icon he continues to perfect his craft and says he will make it in life to take care of his families necessities and hopes to be a successful recording artiste from the island of Jamaica.
