Maeva Borzakian grew up in Paris in a family of jazz musicians. She is self-taught, but has been singing on the French and international scene for over 20 years, with various groups and projects. Influenced mainly by 80s Anglo-Saxon soul and pop, Maeva embarked on a solo career. In 2017 she released her first EP Day by day, which she wrote and composed with Gaël Benyamin aka Gesyter Wescoaster, both recognized artists.

In 2018 the Spanish label Contante & Sonante contacted her to take part in the project of the great Finnish composer arranger and producer Tomi Malm, and she wrote the song "Tourbillon de vie" for him. This beautiful song is featured on Tomi Malm's album, released in October 2020, which includes some of the biggest names in music, including Vinnie Collaiuta and Steve Lukather. The album is distributed worldwide, as well as on the Pvine label in Japan .

In 2019, Maeva joins the jazz fusion group Cortex with Alain Mion, world-renowned for having been sampled by the biggest American rappers. She will be performing with them on a number of highly successful stages: sold out! notably at the New Morning in Paris, in Monaco, then Switzerland, followed by a major tour of the USA in NYC and Los Angeles in 2022.

After several tours of Asia, Europe and the USA, Maeva will be releasing her new album in 2023, written and composed with Philippe Magoo, a well-known French music producer and funk composer.
